Pittsburgh Apostolic Assembly was founded in 2005 to fulfill the will of God in the heart of Pittsburgh. Since the beginning, it has been pastored by Nick.
For the first year, Nick and I held services in our home. In that year's time, money was saved and prayer was made for the Lord to open the door for the church to be relocated to the heart of the city.
The Lord was faithful in answering our prayers and on February 5, 2006, we held PAA’s first Sunday service at the Wyndham Garden Hotel on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh.
PAA is a home missions church but it does not receive any funding from the Missions America department of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ—the organization through which Nick is licensed and ordained. The Lord has provided him with such a job as to be able to support PAA indefinitely and so we feel that other home missions churches need the money provided through Missions America much more than PAA does.
We meet on the fourth floor in the Duquesne Room where we enter into living praise and worship to Jesus Christ, as well as receive life-changing preaching from the Word of God.
The Wyndham Garden Hotel sits on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh and is within walking distance of the Carnegie Mellon and Carlow Universities. The Wyndham is also located just minutes from downtown.
